NSW Bushfire Clean Up Program
Client: Laing O’Rouke
Contract: $3-5 Million
Laing O’Rouke engaged Connor Earthmoving to complete demolition and site remediation works, removal of hazardous materials including asbestos and waste disposal for the Lithgow and Blue Mountains region after the devastating NSW Bushfires of 2019/2020. The aim of the project was to make the properties safe and clean up destroyed homes and businesses. We completed work on over 100 residential and commercial properties.
Connor Earthmoving was a finalist in the NSW Earth Awards for their delivery of this project.
Lithgow Waste Facility
Client: Structen Pty Ltd /
Lithgow City Council
Contract: $1-3 Million
The town of Lithgow has recently seen extensive population growth. Connor earthmoving were engaged by Structen to complete site preparation, dewatering, bulk and detailed earthworks, civil stormwater, asphalt and import fill for the new waste facility. This will be advantageous for the community with respect to ecological responsibility and sustainability.
Orchard Mixed Development
Client: Renascent Regional
Contract: < $500,000
The Orchard located on Forbes Road Orange required earthworks for site and carpark preparation and driveway construction for entry from the highway.
Southern Feeder
Road Demolition
Client: Orange City Council
Contract: < $500,000
The scope of works requested by Orange City Council for this project included the demolition of 2 dwellings at 44 Park Road and 33a Pinnacle Road, Orange. This work was part of staged requirements for the construction of the Southern Feeder Road. The demolition included both Class A and B asbestos removal works, house and shed demolitions, waste disposal and site tidy up.

Relief Programs
Client: Public Works Advisory (PWA)
Contract: $1-3 Million
PWA appointed Connor Earthmoving to undertake Natural Disaster clean up and remediation works in 2021. As follow on from the NSW Bushfire Clean Up Program, we completed additional works in the Blue Mountains/Lithgow area from Bushfire damages but also completed site clean-up, demolition and waste removal from Flood affected Caravan Parks in the Hawkesbury region.
Canobolas High School
Client: Dynamic Sports Facility
Contract: < $500,000
Connor Earthmoving completed bulk and detailed earthworks and site preparation for the laying of new court facilities at Cabobolas Rural Technology High School, located on Icely Road, Orange.
Demolition of Tennis Centre and Clubhouse
Client: Bathurst Regional Council
Contract: < $500,000
215 Durham Street Bathurst required asbestos removal and machinery and manual labour to demolish the tennis centre club house and tennis courts for the new facilities to be constructed.
